Prices and Payment

All prices are in £ sterling.  Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted.  We accept payment by credit or debit card via our secure Realex Payment Gateway, by bank transfer or cheque.   Please make cheques payable to "The Horse Wardrobe Ltd". Please allow 5 working days for clearance of all cheques.

VAT is charged at the UK rate of 20% where applicable, all prices are shown inclusive of VAT.


We deliver within the mainland UK, Ireland and Europe.  We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver within 5 working days if the items purchased are in stock at the point of order.  Worldwide delivery is available and shipping prices are displayed on our carriage costs page.  Please note these prices for for parcels of up to 2kg in weight only.  We are happy to ship heavier parcels, please contact us for a quote.

Delivery Costs

The delivery costs for the UK are as follows:

Ireland, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand delivery costs are shown on each product page, and also on the "carriage costs" page.


All items offered on our website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on our Web Site, click the "Add to Basket" button shown on each product page. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button "Order Now", we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've accepted your order or dispatched the product to you. The contract will be filed. For safety reasons your order’s data are not accessible via internet. We keep these data in confidence according to our privacy policy.


You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and return them for a full refund, unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging.  This will apply to your order unless you order goods made to your own specification or were custom made items (bespoke). Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email, fax or letter. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. The goods must be returned in saleable condition at your expense and we would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. Should you order, details of this right will be sent to you with your confirmatory e-mail.

After-Sales Services and Guarantees

We guarantee products for 12 months from date of receipt providing they are used in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and in a manner that is considered to be for the purpose that they were designed.  If you find them unsuitable or you are not satisfied, providing you notify us within 3 days of receipt, return them to us within 7 days unsoiled and unused and you will be entitled to an exchange or refund. Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of footwear and horse clothing it is regretted that we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).

Return of Goods
All goods returned must be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier, and be fully insured for the full purchase price as shown on the invoice.
